About the Event
Between the 21 August and 8 September 2023, Schools in Action will be hosting National All School Sport Challenges in two separate sports (football (soccer) and netball) in Regional Victoria. The competition will be for students in Years 9 and 10 for boys and girls in both sports.
There will be two divisions at all Challenges to cater for diverse levels of competitiveness. Schools will be able to choose which division they enter when registering for a Challenge. In consultation with event organisers, this may be reassessed following the initial stages of the event.
The football challenge will have a split pool round robin format. Teams will have a maximum size of 18 students.
There will be a fee to participate set at $3000 plus GST per team. Schools will need to organise their own transport to and from the challenge, their accommodation and meals. Links to the relevant tourism authorities may be found on the Schools in Action website.
