Schools in Action is seeking umpires, scorers and timekeepers for the 2026 National All Schools Netball Challenge to be held at the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre, Queensland.

 

Dates: Sunday 30 August – Wednesday 2 September 2026

Hours: Sunday 4:00pm - 5:00pm

               Monday 8:30am - 4:00pm

               Tuesday 8:30am - 2:00pm

               Wednesday 8:30am - 3:00pm

Location: Coomera, Queensland

About the Role:

• Umpires require a minimum Level C badge qualification or are highly experienced in officiating junior games of a high-quality standard
• Tech officials sit with the Scorer in the allocated area and must remain in allocated area during intervals with the timing device and scoring device.
• Tech officials ensure that the score corresponds with the scoresheet at the end of each quarter. 
• The Scorer sits with the Tech official in the allocated area and must remain in allocated area during intervals with the scoring sheet.

• The Scorer ensures that the score corresponds with the score device at the end of each quarter. 

• The Scorer records each centre pass for each quarter.

Requirements:

• Current Working with Children card

 

A paid position the successful applicants will receive an official Challenge polo shirt.

A donation of $10 will also be given to a netball organisation of your choice.
