About the Event
Between the 21 August and 8 September 2023, Schools in Action will be hosting National All School Sport Challenges in six separate sports (3x3 basketball, badminton, football (soccer), hockey, netball and table tennis) in Regional Victoria. The competition will be for students in Years 9 and 10 for boys and girls in all sports.
The badminton challenge will have a split pool round robin format. Teams will have a maximum size of 6 students.
There will be a fee to participate set at $850 plus GST per team. Students will be rostered to perform umpire and line judging duties. Schools will need to organise their own transport to and from the challenge, their accommodation and meals. Links to the relevant tourism authorities may be found on the Schools in Action website.
Please be aware that registering your interest does not guarantee your school’s entry into the event. Schools will be notified in early December 2022 as to whether their application has been successful or not.
