2025 National All Schools Netball Challenge

Schools in Action will be hosting a National All Schools Netball Challenge for girls and boys in Adelaide, South Australia. The Challenge is open to any secondary school registered with their Education Department in their State or Territory. To accommodate different levels of skill we will is hosting separate Development and High Performance divisions. We are offering multiple age groups:

• Girls - Development Division - Year 7 / 8
• Girls - High Performance Division - Year 7 / 8
• Girls - Development Division - Year 9/10
• Girls - High Performance Division - Year 9/10
• Girls - Years 11 and 12
• Boys - Open (Years 7 - 12)

Teams will have a maximum size of 12 students.

The age group eligibility is as follows:

• Years 7 and 8 (or the equivalent of the first or second year of secondary school or repeating Year 7 or Year 8 and be 12 to 15 years of age at the date of competition)
• Years 9 and 10 (or the equivalent of the third or fourth year of secondary school or repeating Year 9 or Year 10 and be 14 to 17 years of age at the date of competition)
• Years 11 and 12 (or the equivalent of the fifth or sixth year of secondary school or repeating Year 11 or Year 12 and be 16 to 20 years of age at the date of competition)
• Open (Years 7 to 12 or the equivalent of the first through to the last year of secondary school and be 12 to 20 years of age at the date of competition)

The netball challenge will have a round robin format followed by a play-off stage. 

There will be a fee to participate set at $1460 plus GST per team.  

Upon registering for the Challenge, a school will be issued an invoice for a deposit of $100 plus GST to confirm the school’s intention to participate. The deposit must be paid within fourteen days of the invoice date. Schools will be notified if their registration is successful or not following fourteen days after the closure of the registration period.

If registrations do not attain a minimum of six schools across a minimum of four divisions then the 2025 National All Schools Netball Challenge will be not be held.
