The Challenge is open to any secondary school registered with their Education Department in their State or Territory or international schools registered with the governing Education Unit in their jurisdiction. To accommodate different levels of skill we aim to host separate Development and High Performance divisions depending on the number of schools participating. We are offering multiple age groups:

  • Girls - Development Division - Junior

  • Girls - High Performance Division - Junior

  • Girls - Development Division - Middle

  • Girls - High Performance Division - Middle

  • Girls - Senior Division

  • Boys - Open Division

Teams will have a maximum size of 12 students.

The age group eligibility is as follows:

  • Junior (minimum of 12 years old and a maximum of 15 years old )

  • Middle (minimum of 14 years old and a maximum of 17 years old)

  • Senior (minimum of 16 years old and a maximum of 19 years old)

  • Open (minimum of 12 years old and a maximum of 19 years old)

ALL AGES ARE AT THE DATE OF COMPETITION (i.e. 31 August - 2 September 2026).

Please contact Schools in Action (email events@schoolsinaction.com.au) should you have any queries on this.

The netball challenge will have a round robin format followed by a play-off stage.

There will be a fee to participate set at $1460 plus GST per team.

Upon registering for the Challenge, a school will be issued an invoice for a deposit of $100 plus GST per team to confirm the school’s intention to participate. The deposit must be paid within fourteen days of the invoice date. Schools will be notified if their registration is successful or not following fourteen days after the closure of the registration period.

If registrations do not attain a minimum of six teams in a division, then that division will not be held at the 2026 National All Schools Netball Challenge.

Schools will need to organise their own transport to and from the Challenge, their accommodation and meals.

If schools need assistance with travel and transport, please contact Damien Cornelli at Team Travel Management via email at dcornelli@teamtravelmanagement.com or phone on +61 451 967 818.
